Album launch smart link for my own band
One link for my band esOterica's album launch that sends every fan to their favourite streaming service - and shows us which posts and adverts brought them in.
The challenge
esOterica is my own band. For our album launch we needed one link to share everywhere - without paying a monthly fee for a smart link service or handing our fan data to someone else.
What I did
- Designed a smart link page around the album artwork, sending fans to Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube
- Set up tracking to show which posts and adverts sent fans to which streaming service
- Created audiences so we could show Facebook and Instagram adverts to fans who had already clicked
